About the Atlanta Gallery Association

The Atlanta Gallery Association burst onto the scene in January 2004 when it hosted the wildly successful ATLart[04], a 16-day citywide art event featuring 70 exhibitions and nine events at multiple gallery and art space locations. A consortium of 33 of Atlanta's foremost fine art galleries representing the highest standards in art, AGA developed in an effort to create a true sense of unity within the Atlanta arts community. The AGA is dedicated to promoting visual arts and increasing public awareness of Atlanta as a major international art center and ensuring its position as the Cultural Capital of the South.

The Atlanta Gallery Association (AGA) is a non-profit, professional association of Atlanta art galleries. It is dedicated to promoting the visual arts and expanding the reputation of Atlanta as a cultural capital. Currently, AGA's membership is comprised of various galleries committed to the highest standards of fine art. The breadth of work ranges from 18th century to contemporary glass, painting, sculpture, objects d'art, fine art prints, photography, works on paper and conceptual installations by regional, national and international artists.
